Recently I became interested in anime thanks to Slacker and also had some free time, contrary to my name, so I decided to join this blog. Cyborg is letting me write whatever I want here as long as its quality so I chose something that was fresh in my mind and was suggested to me by Cyborg himself.
Since I was bored yesterday, I asked Cyborg to suggest an anime to me and he told me to watch Sono Hanabira ni Kuchizuke’s OVA (After I watched it, I couldn’t imagine why he though i’d enjoy it). I had no idea what this “anime” was about or how long it was so that’s why i’m calling this an “In The Dark” review.
So, I set off on my journey to find this OVA. I found a short clip on YouTube which starts like this:
So… as Cyborg aptly explained to me that this blog name is interestsoap, the things we blog about can be about our interests. Hence, the articles about knives and Cyborg’s novel. But since my life is so dull and boring, it will still be about anime. But a certain part of anime that not many people notice and try to skip every single episode. The opening and closings.
So just a couple of days ago (just 2), Cybrog and I went to the BIGGEST ANIME EVENT (in south-east Asia), Anime Festival Asia and it was both of our first time going for such an event since we both started on animes this year. Overall, I have to say that the event was extremely fun and it’s definitely an eye-opener and a new experience for me. So armed with my trusty DSLR, a Canon 550D if you want to know, we spent our entire weekend there. (BTW if you did not notice… I’m quite the enthusiastic photographer though still learning a lot) I took around 365 pictures and these are the best few.
This post is loooooooooooooooooooooooooong overdue. Believe me. Me and SleepySlacker completed this show almost a month ago and I only just got around to writing my half of the post. So lets pretend that you’ve magically been sent back a month in time and continue the post.
Hanasaku Iroha has been on my “Plan to Watch” list in MAL for quite a bit of time already. I decided to watch this show from my stalking around on Twitter. At that time, Hanasaku Iroha was airing and quite a lot of people were tweeting about it. But I decided not to start yet for 2 reasons. Firstly, it was already in episode 12 at that point in time and also because I’m simply f*^&$#g lazy.
Well, this took long enough to write. Episode 4 has been out for like, 5 days? Minimum? I apologize but I finally received my copy of Call Of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 a day ago so I’ve pretty much spent all my time playing it and not doing anything else.
If you did not know this post would contain loads of spoilers, you aren’t very bright; my friend.
It didn’t take as long as Part 2 to produce because my editor could find time to edit it quickly. It started out with 600 words. Then I added some Yuri goggles and imagination so here’s 1,200 words or so of sweet Yuri. Enjoy
Eh Ah Hai… After browsing through MyAnimeList several times, I chanced upon this anime. Moshidora. The main gist of this anime is that a girl uses a book for business to manage her school’s baseball team. The cast had the likes of Hikasa Yoko and Hana Kanazewa which have voiced in many of the animes I liked so I decided to give it a go. PS. (SPOILER alert)
Sorry for not posting a review lately, been busy with you know… animes. Now for episodes 4 and 5, these episodes focus more on the introduction of new characters, if I am not wrong, these are all the characters the show I is going to have.
