Are you scared of the dark?
Have you ever been so spooked out by a dark passageway you ran down it to get into a lot area? Or have you ever walked down a dark road, covered in dry leaves and have the extreme paranoia that something or someone is following you when you hear leaves cracking behind you?
That is the human emotion of fear, a survival mechanism built into us (and most animals too) to safeguard our sorry arses when we’re in the middle of a s**tstorm.
For today’s post, I will be having the usual “surgical” dissection of a topic with brute force ideology and for today, we have the topic of “The compelling power of Fear” and I will be referencing Tasogare Otome X Amnesia.
There will be many various posts in the near future where I speak of various aspects of Tasogare and similar manga/anime (like Sankarea).
Warning: Spoilers for Tasogare. And pic spam
Name to be Confirmed
Now as many of you have see LessThanFree’s post on preparing you guys, I have a follow up to that. With the addition of us doing commentaries and random dubbing, we will be devoting a new category to it. The name is to be confirmed, by so far I came up with “Goofalongs” and yes that name is not confirmed.
What will we be doing over here? Completely random stuff. Usually when we post we try to provoke thoughts or share our opinions, but over here. Well, we are here to just to entertain you guys. Nothing more nothing less. Some of you might find the stuff here a tinge offensive, but please take it lightly, as with everything in this section. FOR THIS IS THE SECTION OF… Stupidity.
Talking to Otakus
Again I have another post about Otakus. It’s just it’s such a great topic to talk about and there are so many things that can be discussed and shared. For today, I am going to talk about Talking with Otakus. That title makes no sense? Let me (attempt badly to) explain.
Be Prepared.
I don’t always post about things to come. But when I do, its because Cyborg, Sleepy and I are working on audio commentary/dubbing for some anime.
I don’t want to spoil it for you by naming the specific shows, but I’m really excited to see how it turns out and I wanted to just put it out there. We’re going to be busy up till the end of May with studies but after that, expect to hear Sleepy’s impersonation of a girl’s voice, my incredibly nerdy whining and Cyborg’s smexy bass and accents.
I also decided to post this to ask you guys for suggestions on animes you want us to review (audio or written) so as to make it just a little bit more engaging. So if you have a burning desire to hear any of us see a certain show, let us know in the comments below.
And on that accidental rhyme, here’s a random moe picture:
A quick glimpse of anime coming up in the Summer.

A little K-On wouldn’t hurt,no? ![]()
The Spring anime has certainly brought in more anime that I’m really enjoying at the moment, particularly “Sankarea”, “Kore Wa Zombie Desu Ka? OF THE DEAD” and “Haiyore! Nyaruko-San”.
And of course, what’s even more exciting is what’s coming up ahead. What more but with Rinne No Lagrange’s sequel, as well as the bunch of anime being adapted from games and manga?

Courtesy of Animu Charts, which has been giving us the heads up on upcoming anime for the past few seasons, was at it again, now with the Summer Anime 2012 lineup.
The charts have been spot-on with what’s going to be televised ever since so what’s in the charts at the moment is very likely, if not, surely to be in the season. Despite that, there’s a couple of edits along the way in the Visual Chart and we’ll be sure to update on that if we do have the time. If not, there’s always the twitter page for you to get a head up yourself.
Appeal of Chaotic Good and Tragic Heroes
Welcome to my first post in a looooooooooooooooooooooong time!! Cyborg’s back ladies, and he’s bringing a post that has been in the works for almost a month now! Enjoy!
When I first thought of this title, my first thoughts were “Oh damn, this sounds kinda prat-ty”, mostly because I am Chaotic Good (Or so I think I am from all the survey’s I’ve read and the material I’ve read). But of course, being me, I said “f**k it” and ran with the title. It is the most apt for this post after all.
To answer some confusions that are no doubt arising amongst some, Chaotic Good is one of the nine alignments of human personality. This website is rather useful in giving information about the alignments as well as providing a handy quiz to find out your own alignment. In order to sum this up if you’re too lazy to read the webpage, I will sum up Chaotic Good for you. Pretty much it’s :”F**k it, let’s do good and f**k all.”
That means Chaotic Good aims to do the ultimate good (as per described by their own perceptions due to Chaotic Good’s individuality) no matter the means of which it is achieved. If he has to carry out evil to attain his goal, it shall be done as the ends justifies the means. Also, Chaotic Good would despise all evil and would do anything to hamper evil.
(Warning, spoilers a-plenty for Fate Zero season 2 and various other manga/anime)
The Concept Behind AKB48 and the other 9000+ Idol Groups
For a start, let me just declare that I am most definitely not a raging Idol Group fan. Not here to declare my undying love for Mayuyu or anything. As all you know the AKB48 anime AKB0048 anime came out not long ago and I did a little research (aka Wikipedia stalking) and I found out some interesting things. Shall I start? (No please don’t)
Visual Novel Artworks (Or CGs)

We know how wonderful mangas and anime are when it comes to their artworks and the quality of how the characters look like. Now as an otaku of sorts you would know at least a little bit about visual novels and how different they are from manga and anime. More or less, it is a combination of manga and anime, excluding the “animation” part of course. Now that’s just the basic information about visual novels. What they are really about is the most interesting aspect of it.
Why Anime?
First thing first, I know that there have been several posts about this already floating around, but it seems like something really interesting to talk about and for the fact that I already had plans to do this post in my To-Do list but I just never got the time. So anywhat, Why Anime?
