Arbitrary Happiness – SleepyのYume
About My Domain
My domain’s name, Arbitrary Happiness more or less summarises what I do over here. Arbitrary means to “subject to individual will or judgment without restriction/ contingent solely upon one’s discretion”, in other words, my entire domain will suit my nature of randomness and will change and flex as fast as the weather. Happiness simply means the high moments that I have and of course I have sad moments, but isn’t it always important to look on the bright happy side of things? So in a few words, my domain is all about randomness and fluffy moe moe cheerfulness (most of the time… remember I am random (・ω<))
What will I be doing here? Well, almost everything. Literally almost everything. So if you would like do request for a post, feel free, I will do my best to come up with it. But the ranges that I have covered are Anime Episodics, General Anime Stuff, little bit of song reviews, compiling information for you guys, Opinion Voicing (Rants) and Seiyuu posts. I am planning to do more of the last two, but again, I am open to any requests.
I more or less manage People Relations over here, so any recruitment enquiries or questions feel free to message my twitter or just comment in any post.
About Me
Formerly SleepySlacker, but after seeing that someone else on twitter had it as well and that it sets off my OCD, I thought about it for a while and came up with this. In Japanese, it is スリーピーの夢 and it can mean A Sleepy Dream or Sleepy’s Dream, whichever way you look at it.
To describe me, as a person, like my name suggests, I am a slacker and my idea of a perfect day involves lying around and watching anime. I am lethargic nearly 40% of the time, close to falling asleep for 30% of the time and hyper as can be for the remaining 40%.

By most people standards I am definitely considered an anime fan (otaku) and as I feel that the Japan culture is interesting and the language itself is fun but difficult to learn. Plus the fact that I love anime. A lot.

It is not hard to guess which is my favourite anime.
I’m also an aspiring photographer and love taking pictures as a way to record down feelings. I got really inspired by Tamayura Hitose. If there is any Anime events in Singapore, I will gladly go over and go crazy with my camera. I am the extremely proud owner of a Nikon D300, with a 55mm to 300mm lens and a Sigma fish-eye lens.

I find girls who know how to use a camera WELL, really cute. If they
So far my passion for anime has branched out into 3 parts, watching anime (duh), collecting figures (really small collection) and seiyuu and singer nuthood. I want to collect as many figures as possible, but as a student, money constraints and all prevent me.

I also find most Japanese girls personalities and looks cute~ Just saying. In picture, Seiyuu Hanesawa Kana, aka HanaKana
Anime wise, I enjoy mostly slice-of-life animes but I will watch almost anything that is considered nice and good… just as long as it does not freak me out seeing I cannot take horror. Though I have to admit, my moe obsession has blinded me on more than one occasion.

I am really into seiyuu and all, so much so that I borderline stalk them online. I feel that what they do is something truly amazing and I respect them for that. I am a fan of many seiyuu, but I have to say my favourites are Hikasa Youko, Taketatsu Ayana and Hanezawa Kana. So if you would like to fanboy/girl over them with me, feel free to do so.

Personality wise, I am the most random person in the world you might ever meet. My personality changes when I talk to different people and I jump in between complete stoner to hyper kid in seconds. I like change almost as much as I hate it. Like Cyborg, I am a very frank person so if I somehow do insult you or offend you I apologize in advance. Cause you know, whatever I do not like sucks to me no matter what and what I like rocks no matter what as well.

Music taste wise I listen to J-pop mostly. In fact nothing else really. Singer wise I do not have much preference though I am a sucker when it comes to seiyuu singers and ClariS, whom I respect them for their singing.

In terms of goals, my biggest dream is to make Otaku-ism mainstream in my homeland, Singapore and overthrow the reign of K-POP. Although as long as I can do an anime related job in the future, I will already be really happy. After all, a job that you love rocks! Hence I really respect Danny Choo for taking the unconventional route and doing a job that he really loves. Blogging wise I am still trying to improve my “flair” so I hope you will bear with this transitional period.

I am a really friendly and nice person (self-praise) so if you wish to talk to me you can go to my twitter. I do not follow back random followers, but if you chat with me I will gladly follow you back and reply every message that I can. Hope you will enjoy the stuff I write!

Hey Slacker, do you use twitter?
Nah, he doesn’t. He’s too lazy to set one up
