The beginning (finally!)

Well, I’ve finally got about to doing it. I’ve been telling myself to start a Youtube channel and upload videos relevant to my ambitions in life but being me, I put it off for the longest damn time.

Today I felt really unfulfilled about life so I got off my arse, stopped browsing Gelbooru for pictures with the tag “Yuri red_hair” and got to recording. It took a grand total of…8 minutes.

On a more sane, less excited note, we’ll like to thank all our 15 or so readers and to all those countless people searching for anime-related pics (and therefore finding our blog ^.^). We’re sorry that we haven’t been posting often but our midterms have us bent over with a sadistic grin. So please, hold on and once Friday comes, posts shall fly up every night!!! So the year ends today In about 9 hours, 2012 will dawn upon us and bring another year of great stuff and sad bits. Just like any year eh? Next year, all 3 of us here turn 16 and are forced to take the dreaded “O” level paper that unfairly judges the path of our life forever.

So this post is to pretty much sum up the year till now. It’s been a great year for me. I went from spiraling depression to finding many things that bring me joy. From Metal to Anime  and Warhammer 40k figurines. I changed quite a bit over the course of the year. I highlighted this stuff in another post.

Well, since I am on my end-of-year holidays, I’ve decided that since I have loads of time, I should go and play some games. And so I did. Thus far, I have played 2 games and the score stands at me with 4 victories and JustinDent at 1 victory in total.

We played 1 annihilation match then a objectives match. I won the annihilation and JustinDent won the objectives match.

I have concluded after some analysis that the army list I have constructed is a Assassination Force. Pretty much, I can kill the big guys and the important guys real fast. Everything else however, I will take time to kill. So Elites, HQs and Vehicles are no match against the combined might of 3 Destructor pattern Predators, A Land-Raider, 2 Land-Speeders and loads of other good stuff.

I recently had my third game, this time with a more complete army and with a better idea for all the Rules and Regulations of the Warhammer 40k Tabletop game. Once again, I was playing against my best friend and his Chaos Army (ewwww, Chaos filth XD). AND once again, I won

Look out, its an Update

Here’s an update. Today i broke out the almighty air brush and used its savage prowess upon my remaining vehicles in my mech-ed out army. Now the twin Rhinos and the twin Land Speeders are both in their correct colour schemes. But i’m stuck on which areas of my Drop Pod to paint red and so i just skipped past it.

The first of many

well, for my return to the blogsphere, i’ve decided to use the most predominant of my interests as the first post; Warhammer 40k Figurines. So sit back and enjoy.

first up, the now almost completed 2nd Tactical Squad. the only things left to paint up are the faces of the sergeant and the 2nd in command and to decide what goes upon the banner. i have acquired a devastator set and now my squad is now fully armed with a melta and a multi-melta. after i plated a few games with the previous list, i’ve made changes to the entire strike force and my sergeant no longer sports a power weapon as my playing style negates the use of melee weapons as i prefer guns over blades. this squad is now adapted to be the forward advancing squad hence the meltas.
