Stained Uniforms

I actually had planned this story out a long time ago. It was drafted around the same time as By The Light but I never got around to actually writing it as I knew I had to get into this particularly mood to compose it. Which is to say emo but not self-pitying. Which just happened to be today. So now straight from the Forge of CyborgCommunist’s mind, Staind Uniforms, a short angsty Yuri story for 2 High School girls.

Part of the inspiration of the story was also my own thoughts on such issues of sexuality. This was great fun to write and it was hard for me to end it as I wanted to.

I reccomend listening to this as before you read. It’s a beautiful song and it sets the mood rather well in my opinion. I was listening to this as I wrote anyway.

The bitingly chilly autumn wind tussled Erin’s long hair, the tips of them tickling her clenched hand.  In her grip, there was another’s hand. Harumi shivered slightly as the wind once again blew past her and Erin.

Harumi moved closer to Erin and gripped her arm with her other hand, snuggling closer to Erin for warmth and comfort as they stood on the school’s roof. The gusts of wind finally died down and all was still on the roof again, the only sounds made by the still rustling leaves scattered on the rooftop.

I almost stayed up till early in the morning to wait for the episode to air until I remembered it’ll be in Japanese anyway so it’ll be useless. I was really looking forward to it. Thank goodness today is a E-learning day for my school (When we stay at home and do worksheets the teachers email to us) so I had time to watch Black Rock Shooter and the other anime that ends today, Guilty Crown.

Smack that BRS

Of the two, I really can’t pick which I’m more upset over due to the fact they’ve ended. But Black Rock Shooter’s ending was slightly better than Guilty Crown’s in my opinion.

So now, let the final episodic begin.

All is apparent (Black Rock Shooter Episodic: Episode 7)

Luka~

Well, a delightful fruit on Twitter informed me that this episode would be intense and damn; was she right. That was such an enjoyable episode. Finally, most of our doubts are cleared and the main basis for the entire story laid out clearly.

This delightful episode starts of with Mato thinking about why she likes the Li’l Bird Li’l Bird Colorful Colours. Although the story does not have a happy ending, she wonders why she still likes it so much.

Purple, Red and White (Black Rock Shooter episodic: Episode 6)

Did I get your attention? One of the best Yuri pics I've ever seen ^.^

I thought the last episode was epic mindf**k but Black Rock Shooter decided to beat that with Episode 6. My mind is now sufficiently raped thanks to it.

The mind of BRS is blue. Who would have guessed?

Well, to start of the episode, we have Mato trapped in Insane Black Rock Shooter and she’s talking to herself about killing Dead Master, who looks like Yomi (I wonder why~). She’s convinced she has ruined Yomi and that she can’t fly any more. She looks around in the blue void of BRS’s mind and screams in anguish.

Brutal transformation scene!!! whooooooo

Black Rock Shooter begins transforming into Insane BRS at this point. She gets perforated by multiple chains and purple crystals/spikes and comes out of the maelstrom as Insane BRS. Shortly after doing that, she lifts up her now pimped out weapons and gets to killing Black Gold Saw.  However, BGS evades all her attacks and shoves her great big sword into Insane BRS’s right shoulder. Being Insane, BRS rips her own arm off. The whole time this was happening, Mato was screaming in a banshee whenever Insane BRS was wounded. Cue opening song. What a great way to start the episode. I was eating when I was watching. Happily, I’m not squeamish about blood, especially when it spews out as black and purple crystals.

Holy. F*****g. Shit. What was that (Black Rock Shooter episodic: Episode 5)

Hawt Hawt Hawt

First, let me saysay “holy f****g shit, what was that addkgjlrvh *head-laptop*”

Ok, now that that is out of the way, the episodic can begin for the most mindf**k episode of Black Rock Shooter yet.

I have no idea how to start this but heck, let’s go

Muthaf****g Skeletons in my Muthaf****g way!!!

The episode starts with Black Rock Shooter going ape-shit on Dead Master’s armies, tearing them new assholes with 2 Chainguns. However, she gets smashed by a giant warrior with a hammer but kills it. Yomi sends out her 2 giant skull servants and they fuse into a giant 2 headed entity that tries to kill Black Rock Shooter. Black Gold Saw watches all this and then proceeds to vanish under the green liquid of Dead Master’s realm.

Overkill is underrated. Especially when outnumbered

Mato and Yuu are then seen walking to school where Mato is hesitating is she should go to Yomi’s house to pick her up. Eventually, she gets there and presses the doorbell where Yomi’s mother answers, telling them to go away. However, Yomi comes out of the house just as her mother is done and they head to school with an air of dread between Mato and Yuu.

Yanderes and Chains (Black Rock Shooter Episodic: Episode 4)

Nyan~

Well, this episode sure had lots of little surprises and development. Great fun to watch and my brain is still pondering how its all going to conclude in the end.

The episode starts with us finally being able to see Strength as she drags Chariot’s decapitated body to a great pit before tossing it in. All around, we see Black Gold Saw’s eye observing Strength as she does this. Sadly, that’s the only time we see Strength this episode and she didn’t even do much. At least her character design is good too.

Rollercoaster emotions

 

Velvet Kiss. If you said that name to me about a month ago, I would have suddenly turned all emo and kinda sad as I would have remembered a particular chapter that played with my heart like it was a musical instrument.

And now as you Google it, you’ll find put that it’s an ero manga (yep, still reading ero manga). So you might be wondering how the hell that happened huh?

As I’ve said in a previous post where I spoke of my ero manga history, Velvet Kiss is by far my favourite one thus far. It managed to fuse all that I wanted into a single literary work that just messes with your mood. It’s got a good plot (In my opinion of course), excellent art (Harumi Chihiro is really good), rather dynamic characters and plenty of angst mixed in with tons of problems and misunderstanding. The ero is of course, real good too.

Forbidden Lilies Part 5: At Odds

Aria sighed and put down her stylus before pushing the drawing tablet away. She groaned as she rubbed her eyes. A quick glance at the clock told her that it was 2.35am in the morning. She had stayed up the whole night trying to finish a commissioned artwork for her client’s website. It was pity she could not finish it today but she would not have been able to produce a quality product otherwise. Aria yawned and stretched as she continued to draw, feeling lethargic. “I’ll complete it tomorrow then!” she said to herself as she swiveled her chair around. Aria stood up and started to make her way towards the bathroom in her apartment when a movement from the bed caught her eye. Niko had turned over in her sleep and her crimson hair was in a fan around her head on the pillow.

Superstition and Forbidden romance (Sayonara Folklore manga review)

Now that I've got your attention with this maid ^.^

The very first manga I completed this year was Sayonara Folklore. I had read chapter 2 previously almost 5 months ago and I was overjoyed that the translation team decided to release all of the remaining chapters and omake before they closed down (R.I.P Shi-Ki scans).

To summarize the plot (There’s not much to summarize since it’s only 5 chapters long), it’s about a girl who enters an all-female boarding school but intends to leave by utilizing a superstition of the school. It’s said that when 2 lovers committed suicide in the school, they left a curse on the school and whenever 2 girls make physical contact on a Monday, they would be striven by the curse of them. However, it’s not said in detail what the curse does though.
