The Power of Cute Compels You! (Papa no Iukoto wo Kikinasai Episode 7 & 8 Review)

Time for a double episode review special for PapaKiki. As soon as I’m done with these, I will be finally back on schedule. Yay! Now you may be wondering about the title of this post, it has great meaning to episode 8 and is a K-ON dub reference.

If you did not know, this is a reference to the PV of the OP "Happy Girl" by KitaEri (Miu)

Seeing that episode 7 and 8 are both linked, it does not hurt to put them together, after all this means double the cuteness.

My mind is full of f**k…and questions (Black Rock Shooter Episodic: Episode 3)

This post is meant to highlight 3 different things. Firstly, I’ll like to thank all the readers of InteresSOAP for allowing us to reach 10k total views!!! It’s not that much of a landmark but something that we’re rather proud of. So I’m very grateful for that. Also, at the bottom of this post, I put a short explanation for the problems that many no doubt have encountered recently on the blog regarding pictures in my posts. However, the main purpose is of course, Black Rock Shooter.

I was really looking forward to this episode of Black Rock Shooter for more doses of emotional battles and symbolism. It’s such a wonderful way to end a horrible week by watching anime you like, isn’t it? Thank goodness this episode didn’t disappoint and I hope Black Rock Shooter will never disappoint. Because it’s only 8 episodes long and any disappointments would pretty much ruin the whole show and not just a small arc.

Now, onto the episodic. To follow up on what happened at the end of episode 2, it seems Kagari just simple fell asleep after becoming all dere dere. According to Yomi, she is slowly recovering of her dependence on her although it’s not confirmed if she is truly no longer a yandere. However, it seems Yomi is now becoming an yandere as she is portrayed at being jealous of Mato and Yuu’s relationship, with them being childhood friends and all. So this might add a new spin to later episodes.

Rollercoaster emotions

Velvet Kiss. If you said that name to me about a month ago, I would have suddenly turned all emo and kinda sad as I would have remembered a particular chapter that played with my heart like it was a musical instrument.

And now as you Google it, you’ll find put that it’s an ero manga (yep, still reading ero manga). So you might be wondering how the hell that happened huh?

What an erotic cover eh

As I’ve said in a previous post where I spoke of my ero manga history, Velvet Kiss is by far my favourite one thus far. It managed to fuse all that I wanted into a single literary work that just messes with your mood. It’s got a good plot (In my opinion of course), excellent art (Harumi Chihiro is really good), rather dynamic characters and plenty of angst mixed in with tons of problems and misunderstanding. The ero is of course, real good too.

Mashiro Iro Symphony : The Colour Of Lovers (Another Visual Novel Adapted Anime)

Take Your Pick!

Well I haven’t posted in a while so I had a thought on making a review on this particular anime on a whim, since I’m not privileged with time nowadays. Indeed we have seen familiar anime titles commonly adapted from Visual Novels and based on that fact, I’m here to again, share a particular Visual Novel Adapted Anime of which popular titles like Clannad, Da Capo and Amagami SS  cemented their success in the production line. Romance? Absolutely Present. Slice Of Life? Totally.

I Told You this Aint Moe-blob! (Papa no Iukoto wo Kikinasai Episode 5 Review)

Hah! I get to say it at last! Just like a K-ON reviewer back in the day I get to say those words. This show aint (just) a moe blob, pardon my dreadful engrish.

Suuuure.... Bad luck.....

The themes in it are not all light and fluffy and the characters are not one dimensional. All this is in my opinion only ok? Not yours, mine. ^^;

The remedy to what ails you (Tamayura Hitotose review)

Watch out, this show is on super high hnnnnnnnnnngggghhh alert.

Probably one of my most anticipated shows of the previous anime seasons (then again, I was looking forward to a lot of shows. Fate Zero and Last Exile Fam of Silver Wing to name a few), Tamayura Hitotose encompasses the story of Fu Sawatari as she moves back to her home town the unfortunate passing of her father. There, she meets with her old childhood friends and slowly comes back to terms with herself and her love for photography which she got from her father.

To summarize it, it’s a touching story of friendship, overcoming odds and grievances as well as enjoying life to the fullest. In other words, the perfect cure to a depressing day. I could never remain depressed after an episode. Personally, I think it’s humanely impossible to still be pissed after an ep. Unless of course, you weren’t paying attention to it.

Responsibility and Innocence (Usagi Drop anime review)

To build context for this post and for the next few by me that will follow this, recently, I’ve been running out of ideas on what to post. It’s not that I have nothing original, it’s that I know that such ideas won’t have substantial content to publish a post with. And some ideas are just really random but things I would like to do, but preferably not on WordPress due to lack of some tools. Hence, I thought “why not review anime?” There are a few series that I haven’t reviewd that I greatly enjoyed, particularly those that ended recently. Hence forth, this is the first of a short binge of anime review posting.

The scene that made this show shine in my eyes

Undoubtedly one of my favourite anime of all time, Usagi Drop really left a deep impression on me long after I finished watching it. I picked up the show only after 4 episodes had aired as I actually wasn’t really forward to it. As usual, I picked it up on a whim one day when I was bored and began watching.

From the first episode, I was absolutely captivated by it. The plot, the art and the feelings the show gave enraptured me and I watched the next 3 episodes immediately, forgetting about my work (I got scolded for that the next day of course). From then on, I would eagerly await the next episode. I couldn’t get enough.

It Finally Happened! “That Moment” (Boku wa Tomodachi ga Sukunai ep 11)

Let me start with summarizing this episode in a few words. “OH MY GOD AT LAST”. Yes, the episode that makes you go “Wow” and many other wild exclamations is here. Not every part of this episode was good, but those few moments just made me start talking gibberish. Anywhat, this episode is basically the Festival kind of episode, like last time was a beach episode.

The trolling Firework,,,, something every festival must have

Remember the Name of that Flower ( Ano Hi Mita Hana no Namae wo Bokutachi wa Mada Shiranai Season Review)

For quite some time now, I have being trying to get Cyborg and LessThanFree to watch this certain anime, but for some reason they have something else to watch. (Cyborg-Aoi Hana  LessThanFree-Neon Genesis) I have mentioned this anime in one of my posts before, it is none other than, Ano Hi Mita Hana no Namae wo Bokutachi wa Mada Shiranai, or as the much easier way to call it AnoHana. There are spoilers on the way just to make this very clear.

Dramatic Posing 0.0 this is gonna be a big one
