Spring,Summer and Fall 2012 at a glance

As the summer season anime of 2012 draws to a close, we’re bound to miss those heartwarming and gut-wrenching moments of those animes that we’ve watched over the season. Lacklustre or not, I’d still enjoy whichever ones that I’ve picked up and watched through every episode except for School Days, of course. Worse that I’ve seen and I’m glad there were only a few of its kind! Not to offend those who love it though! Just a little disclaimer : Read at your own risk!

Spring First impressions: Tasogare Otome X Amnesia

For this season, I have only decided to pick up 4 shows so it’s goes without saying that the anticipation for them is really high. @fkeroge’s post on Fate/Zero sums up my thoughts on Fate/Zero pretty well and I might be writing a post on Jormungand soon. But today’s post would be on Tasogare Otome X Amensia.

Out of the 4 selected anime this season, I’ve read the manga for 2 of them. I recently read Jormungand to it’s latest volume and it’s just non-stop excitement and just awesome action scenes. The other I’ve read was Tasogare Otome X Amnesia and I’m still undecided which I enjoyed more. But whilst Jormungand appealed more to my feral side that screams “LET’S KILL EVERYONE WITH AN ASSAULT RIFLE!!!!!!!”, Tasogare appealed more to my logical brain due to it’s theme of mystery and also a hint of controversy.

Saki: Achiga-hen – Episode of Side-A First Impression

Since the anime I have been waiting for the most, why not do a first impression about it so I can expose all of you people to my crazy and insane (those two have the same meaning) fanboyism. So here you go, impressions of Saki: Achiga-hen – Episode of Side-A.

After watching the first Saki, I got into the whole mahjong thing and have been playing online mahjong for quite a bit so I can safely say that I (somewhat) know what on earth I am talking about. So enough of my bull-crap… on to the impressions.

Mother of God… (Black Rock Shooter Episodic – Episode 1)

Awwww yeah

As stated in the post title, this is a first impression of the recently aired Black Rock Shooter anime. The first episode aired yesterday and I jumped straight onto WordPress the instant I was done with it. I’ve been waiting for this anime to air for a while now and that fact they decided to release it 1 month after all the others had aired to build hype didn’t help of course.

Truth to be told, I have no idea what the main concept of the plot is. Of course I can spout some random philosophical bullshit (which I have thought of), it mostly revolves around a mysterious girl known as Black Rock Shooter who seems to be a part of Mato Kuroi, a high schooler. In the OVA, Mato “becomes” Black Rock Shooter to find her friend, Yomi, who has been possessed by Dead Master, another spirit, much like Black Rock Shooter (I think). In the anime, the same seems to be happening except now with more characters and a slight variation to the plot.

My Fox Spirit and Me (InuxBokuSS First Impressions)

This is the final anime I plan to watch every week this season. InuxBoku SS. Which literally translate to Me with My Dog Secret Service. I am not kidding. But turns out, neither is this anime when it comes to awesomeness.

The Dreams of Every Lolicon (Papa no Iukoto wo Kikinasai First Impressions)

Listen to me girls, I’m your father! That is a name that immediately sets of loli alarms. This is another anime on my list for a simple reason. There are cute girls and there are cute girls. Surprisingly, this show is a lot deeper than that.

Single Sex Schools Mess Your Mind Up! (Danshi Koukousei no Nichijou First Impressions)

Seeing that I rant too randomly most of the time, I am going to get straight to the point. This post is about Danshi Koukousei no Nichijou or The Daily Lives of High School Boys a comedy show starring 3 boys. (So no cute girls or anything) That’s just sad. By the way, I’m trying a new blogging style so tell me what you think.

The Tales of a Trickster (Nisemonogatari First Impression and Ep 1 Review)

At long last, the anime that I have been anticipating the most is finally here. The anime which has a first season that blew me away, the one most anticipated anime that I have been anticipating for the most is here. Yes that is bad English structure and the anime is Nisemonogatari.

Do not scream with excitement... YEEEAAAAHH!

The Second One is Here! (K-ON!! Movie Music Review)

Ok, guys it’s another K-ON post, probable this will be the final one since the excitement from the movie is ending for you. (But never for me) You might be wondering what else can I write about, I already did the anticipation, spoilers and even a trailer translation. So what’s left? Yup, like the title suggests, the music.

Now… to all the K-ON fans are thinking… 3rd Dec 2011. If you call yourself a K-ON!! Fan and still do not know this date, please throw yourself off the building. Let me give you a hint… IT’S THE FRIGGING MOVIE!!! ITS HERE AT LAST… AT LOOOONNNNGGGG LAST!
