8 Days to the Apocalypse – Ep7: Hate Love

What a thoroughly confusing title eh.

Today’s video will have me talking about the interesting thought processes why I can write posts and tweets of hate directed towards an anime and still love it in the end.

It’s tsundere complex for fiction and it’s some entertaining stuff.

Also, sorry for this video being really late. I recorded the video early in the morning but I couldn’t edit and render it till late at night. So this will technically be released on Day 8 where I live.

8 Days to the Apocalypse – Ep6: Just another “rage” video

I tried to make a rage video, honest. I was going to yell and be all angry about anime characters I dislike with venom.

But instead, it’s a mostly bad video of an Asian teenager raising his voice, kind of proving that I can’t rage so well.

Well, I talk about anime characters I don’t like, the video itself should be entertaining. Enjoy.

A Look Back at the Winter Season 2012

Hey! Guess what? I’m actually still alive! After being cooped up for so long and having seen quite a bit of the spring season, I asked the other writers if we could do a wrap-up of Winter and voice our opinions of the shows we watched.

The usual eye-catching picture =D

And contrary to the usual thing about Winter being cold, ours was as hot as… hmm… Ririchiyo in stockings? If you have not noticed, I’m a very lenient rater so my rating for anime will seem rather high, but I look at it from a really wide perspective. How much I liked and enjoyed the show xD てへぺろ (・ω<) The other writers will be adding opinions too so pardon the really random scores.

Pretty interesting pic,no?

Guilty Crown Original Soundtrack by Hiroyuki Sawano

The Cover Art of the Album

And here it is, the soundtrack I’ve been waiting for ever since the anime was labeled to be one of the best animes of its season. Certainly it went off with some amazing graphic displays suited for every anime and of course, with redjuice as the original character designer, it certainly had the prospect of being one. The anime doesn’t cater to everyone, but as Cyborg and the rest of us are concerned, it’s all about your perception. And in that respect, I believe I wouldn’t be flaming someone when I said that I preferred this than the likes of animes like Naruto and Bleach. First and foremost this is my first ever anime music review so I humbly apologize that my opinions may end up being mediocre but it’s just the way I roll.

And what the flying f**k was that? (Guilty Crown Episodic – Episodes 11 and 12)

Well, if you are watching Guilty Crown for any demented reason say you like the action or the art, you would know that they had a “brief” break after episode 11. Of course they would leave you hanging for quite a bit after a cliffhanger in which they decided to murder Gai (I was waiting for it actually, there’s no way they’ll let him live).

And some random OVA of sorts came out and I went to get it. Kiseki Assortment if I remember the name. Don’t watch it. It’s just 50 minutes of them recapping all the crap that has happened thus far.

Monochrome + Shimapan = win

Ok, now that I’m done with all that crud, let’s get to it shall we?

I’ll also like to apologize for the tardiness of this post. Guilty Crown ep 13 has already aired a while back but I haven’t been able to get down and write a post for a bit. Also, I’ve been a bit lazy recently to post but I decided to finish this up

I give up on this crap (Guilty Crown episodic end) and blabbering

I think I got your attention ;D

Yes, indeed, I am going to stop with my Guilty Crown episodics.

Mostly because I cannot think of stuff to write as I write them. The show fluctuates between (somewhat) good and bad all the time, which has annoyed me to the extent I have no idea if I should rage at it or compliment it. And also because I’m lazy.

As the year comes to a close (Huge arse Fall Season Impressions post)

Well, its not all that long till the end of the year. The Fall season was the first one where I’ve ever watched so many shows. So I’m going to do a impressions post of the shows so far just before their finals episodes come out (well, those that end this season of course) and speculate on the next few eps

PLENTY OF SPOILERS. ALSO, ITS RATHER NONSENSICAL AT TIMES

Yin and Yang (Guilty Crown Episodic – Episodes 7 and 8)

I’m very sure we all know the feedback of Guilty Crown by quite some people, that it’s a bad show and a rip-off of other shows. It’s argued that the plot is poor, the character’s lacking depth and that it takes loads of elements from other animes. It’s as if Guilty Crown’s only redeeming factor is the fact that it looks good.

I’ll actually like to give my opinion on that by referring to another anime, Infinite Stratos. Let’s see. Both of them didn’t have a great plot. The characters were also not built up well and shallow at times. But it still looked really good with its CG. In these ways, Guilty Crown and Infinite Stratos are similar in my opinion. I know that they’re both pretty bad compared to most of the other animes that were aired at the same time during that season but I watched it anyways. Because it was enjoyable.

A touch of Awesome, a bunch of Meh (Guilty Crown Episodic – Episodes 5 and 6)

C'mon, you can't dislike the pic

Yes, I’m still watching Guilty Crown. I do know it is pretty crappy at times but hey, the awesome bits kinda off-sets those bits. And it’s still entertaining.

Well, Episode 5 was a bit cliched but I still enjoyed it. I was going to write a post right after Ep5 to discuss something but I didn’t in the end.

So previously in Ep4, we see Shu decided to go along with Gai to join the merry ranks of Funeral Parlor. So in Ep5, Funeral parlor now attempts to train the weak Shu to become a field operative and he’s put under Ayase’s care. The bits immediately after those show Shu in training and generally not doing a whole lot right. But the most interesting bit comes after. Whilst walking through the compound that Funeral Parlor uses as a base, he comes across Inori, sitting on a balcony, looking out the windows. Of course, he decides to talk to her (It’s pretty obvious he likes her, right?) where he asks her reason why she joined Funeral Parlor.

Redemption!!! (Guilty Crown Episodic – Episodes 3 and 4)

A lil epic scenery pic instead of Yuri for today

Well, this took long enough to write. Episode 4 has been out for like, 5 days? Minimum? I apologize but I finally received my copy of Call Of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 a day ago so I’ve pretty much spent all my time playing it and not doing anything else.

If you did not know this post would contain loads of spoilers, you aren’t very bright; my friend.
