Haiyore – I’ve got my mindless entertainment

Thanks to desperate persuasion by SleepyNoYume and LessThanFree, compounded by extreme boredom on Saturday night, I began watching Haiyore Nyaruko-san. Personally, I was already prejudiced against this anime. The blurb doesn’t exactly put it in a good light. As a side note, the basis for both (Sleepy and Free) argument why I should watch this was “You’ll love it! There’s a DFC redheaded twintails girl that’s into Yuri!” It’s not word for word but that’s the general idea. To be honest, that was only enough to pique my interest but not enough to convince me to watch it.

But alas, the power of boredom on a weekend night. I torrented the first 3 eps and watched them over a nice big bowl of Japanese curry (Which was bloody excellent. My mum’s a great cook ;D).

GO! GO! MANIAC! (InuxBoku Episode 9 Review)

What a title for this episode. “Day of the Promise”, it makes this episode sound so serious and like somebody died or something. But then, it’s just a day to drink coffee with Miketsukami.

Heads up, but most of the pictures are here for the moe, nothing else.

This is INSANITY! (Danshi Koukousei no Nichijou Episode 9 Review)

Lolis Give You a Nice Sweet Feeling in your Heart (Paka no Iukoto Kikinasai Episode 3 Review)

When we left of last time, it was the touching part already, however this show does not want to let go of your heart strings so easily but let’s save that for later! So far I have to say that I am extremely glad that PapaKiki has 26 episodes, because every episode just let you feel so relaxed, like it somewhat heals you.

Since we left of, Yuuta managed to man up and take care of the three girls, in the process, pissing off every single of the girls relatives. On the bright side, the girls will still be together. But I have to say that guy has balls, but does not really think ahead.

A Demon Samurai and A Fox Spirit (InuxBoku SS Episode 2 Review)

So far I have to say that I enjoyed every single anime I have decided to watch. InuxBoku SS has proved to be enjoyable, though not the top notch kind of anime, it is still a fantastic anime to watch and I strongly recommend you to watch it if you have much free time. Now, on to the talk about the episode!

Hmm... seems nothing much has changed since we last left

When we left off at episode 1, we already know that the house, Ayakashi Kan, is meant for people who have a part supernatural form along with the usual human form people usual have. Other words they can transform into other creatures. Seeing that Ririchiyo-sama is staying in this house, it has led me to think that she is part-supernatural. We get a simple explanation at the start of the episode that the house is meant for the part-supernaturals to have a place to stay as at night their weird combination of human and monster attracts real monsters to them. So the house is a place for them to be safe.

Remember back at the first post about PapaKiki, the part where I said that the characters only have on trait and that the show might make me feel really emotional near the end? Turns out I was dead wrong. As dead as those girls parents. (Missing more like, but I wanted to be punny!)

The first week of anime is over and now since it is the second week, the second episodes come out. (Duh) So once again, it is Symphogear’s second episode, not really once again since this is the first time. I’m not making any sense again, moving on.
