A little downtime for some animes..

As the Olympics begin, it is inevitable that there are certain animes set to be affected due to the airing times of the Olympics. TBS is the first to address the issue, with NakaImo and KoiChoco to be postponed for a few weeks until 16th of August, where the London 2012 Olympics enters its final stages of competitions. Don’t be too disheartened about the news. The Japanese do watch sporting events, you know. Make the most out of the postponement by picking up another anime or catch-up with what you’ve missed out on!
Updated Charts for Summer 2012!

Some Tony Taka illustrations to kick things off!
As promised, we’ve kept our word in bringing to you what’s in store for July, or should I say, Summer 2012! Over the past few weeks, we have noticed several changes compared to my previous post on this. This time, we see more anime being brought into the light, and boy am I happy to see several romance anime in the summer : a good birthday present for me, I guess!
For the delight of some of you Yuri Yuri fans out there, July will see the second season of Yuru Yuri. To be honest, I’ve never seen the prequel but I’ll be hoping to have a look if I do have the time.

Twintails!
Also after a few changes in the charts, we now see more of J.C. Staff productions as well as P.A. Works, known for the anime “Another” and “Hanasaku Iroha”. Don’t worry guys, this one isn’t gore. Instead, it looks even better than “Hanasaku Iroha”. Let’s see how this one fares.
Apart from those changes in which I highlighted the rest are pretty much confirmed from the previous version, just that we know now which anime is set to air in July and the following month after that.
Well, I would love to post the whole bit of the chart here but unfortunately, it’s too big to fit the whole page here so this will have to suffice. http://i.minus.com/ib2htiqSkcalri.jpg
Anyway, have a good day and here’s to a great summer season!
EGOIST getting a debut album?

It is as the title suggests. EGOIST, the fictional band featured in Guilty Crown is actually getting a debut album with a helping hand from none other than Supercell, the band which shot straight to fame and eventually became a personal favorite of mine.
Some news (maybe bad ones) for you..

Now I’m sure some of you know about the Euro 2012 which has just started last week. And with live matches being telecasted, there’s bound to have anime shows having breaks due to that. With regards to that, at least 3 anime are not broadcasted this week : Acchi Kocchi, Eureka Seven AO and Sankarea. Read the rest of this entry
The Magic of Fiction and Media
Yes, after causing you to suffer by reading that cheesy title, I’m assuming that you already have a good idea what this post might be on. If you don’t, then read on I suppose.
I will be speaking of the wonders of fiction in this post. No doubt you might have read such a post before or worse, had your English teacher preach this to you when you were young but either way, this is something I really wanted to post on.
Fiction. A word meaning anything that is thought up, with some or no actual basis in reality. One of humanity’s greatest use of our imaginative powers in my opinion. Also, Media. A method to broadcast any form of information to the masses through various technological means or word of mouth. Together, they form one of the greatest forces to reckon with on Earth.
Why am I writing about this you might ask? Well, it’s simple really. I adore fiction. Ever since a tender young age, I’ve been obsessed with reading, particularly books or novels. Not to brag but at age 8, I was reading books that even 12 year olds might have troubles comprehending. Maybe it was because of my circumstances growing up, but I was really introverted when I was much younger and spent my days with piles of books to comfort me. That paints a rather sad image eh but to me, it was the time of my life. Everyday was an adventure with new worlds opening before my eyes with every turn of a page
