Trickster Sister – Nisemonogatari Episode 10 Review
I can’t believe how fast this series is coming to a close, with only one episode to go for this season. I can see why its called trickster story; Karen’s arc is about a trickster, Kaiki, stirring up trouble and now Tsukihi Phoenix is about a supernatural being deceiving people.
This episode really satisfied me. Tsukihi finally gets some screen time in this arc and the plot thickens.
The show hints at Tsukihi’s immortality with her permanent scar healing, and of course the scar is located in the middle of her chest. Araragi, being a helpful older brother, decides to check on it when he realizes he can’t see it. Tsukihi seems completely unaware of her ability. It would be pretty sad if she found out about it through everyone but her growing old and dying.
A new challenger has arrived – Nisemonogatari Episode 9 Review
This episode picks off right where the last left off. After avoiding Tsukihi’s punishment, Araragi arranges a meet with Kanbaru for Karen and as usual, Kanbaru is naked in her house.
I’m a little disappointed because I wanted to see the interaction between Kanbaru and Karen, they seem like they would get along very well but I guess we’ll have to wait till the next episode to see it. I realize that the content is really dragged out throughout Nisemonogatari.
Every episode feels like a fragment of a complete episode, especially in the case of the previous episode. Back in Karen Bee, I had no idea what happened to Karen for the first 3 episodes. And now, Tsukihi’s screen time in her own arc is minuscule. Its not a bad thing to pace content but I feel like some of the banter is completely unnecessary.
When Araragi broke the 4th wall and started addressing the viewers about how he wouldn’t sexually harass Hachikuji, I knew it was going to happen. And since he’s back to sexual harassment, Hachikuji is back to mispronouncing his name.
Incestuous Toothbrushing – Nisemonogatari Episode 8 Review
Before I talk about the episode, I have to apologize for not doing the episodic last week because I was feeling lazy, which forced Sleepyslacker to cover up for me. So from now on I’m going to do it every week.
More than the start of Tsukihi’s arc, this episode feels more like the epilogue to Karen Bee. It shows how the relationship between Karen and Araragi is no longer hostile and instead is so close that its almost incentral. In fact Tsuhiki is only featured for something like 2 minutes even though this is supposedly her arc. My guess is that her reaction to this incest will be in the next episode and will get the ball rolling for the arc.
Seeing how suggestively Karen behaved, I thought that she would react in jealousy when Araragi mentioned Kanbaru. When she said that she looks up to Kanbaru, my faith in the show’s normality was restored. Then it was shattered again starting with this:
End of the Bee and into the Phoenix (Nisemonogatari Episode 7 Review)
Hello people. It’s me again. Why? You might ask. Well… Free’s said he was lazy to do it plus we have tests tomorrow so he kinda ditched you guys. Nah, he’s just (quote) “Too lazy” to do it so I am back here again. Not bad seeing that I get to round up the rest of this arc.

This can become a thing, put the most fanservicy pic as the first one.
What is with Nisem and their blatant fanservice? I mean did they really have to do that?
Almost There… (Nisemonogatari Episode 6 Review)
After 5 episodes of beating about, the show is almost getting somewhere.
The episode starts with Araragi taking a walk to Senjougahara’s house and meeting Hachikuji on the way. Instead of taking her down with some good ol’ sexual harassment, he just taps her on the shoulder, much to her disappointment. Somehow she actually preferred it when he sexually assaulted her and starts to condemn him for stopping.
The usual gag aside, Araragi talks about his sisters, complaining about their rashness and about how his sisters don’t realize that they’re still just kids. As he criticizes them, Hachikuji points out that he is actually very much like them in that he does what is right without thinking about it.
Our Siscon Vampire Araragi (Nisemonogatari Episode 5 Review)
Not bad, Nisemonogatari. You have made me completely hate a character and for that I applaud you slowly and dramatically. They quality of this episode is great as usual and although there is hardly any storyline progression, I enjoyed seeing the characters talk.

Nope, does not look like he is gonna rape her, not one bit
My dear Araragi Koyomi, it seems like being branded a lolicon is not enough for you, you have to now announce to everyone that you’re a siscon as well.
We Get to See Everyone except, the Loli Vampire! (Nisemonogatari Episode 3 Review)
So, I’m really really late for this post. Sorry about that, it’s currently Chinese New Year here so I’m really busy now and I don’t really have the mood to blog when I feel busy. Anyway, it is time again for the next episodic review of Nisem, so on to the review.

So, he goes for the loli, good choice mate
Arararagi Get’s Raped, Multiple Times (Nisemonogatari Episode 2 Review)
Again, it is time for the 2nd episode of Nisem. Sorry it is really late by episodic standards, I have been extremely busy with work and stuff, not to mention my bukatsu (club). So if you have been waiting for a long time for this I apologise. If you did not, on to the review!

The Moe Sisters! Oh wait, my bad. It's the Fire Sisters
The Tales of a Trickster (Nisemonogatari First Impression and Ep 1 Review)
At long last, the anime that I have been anticipating the most is finally here. The anime which has a first season that blew me away, the one most anticipated anime that I have been anticipating for the most is here. Yes that is bad English structure and the anime is Nisemonogatari.

Do not scream with excitement... YEEEAAAAHH!
This was started by randomness and alcohol part 1 (Massive Winter 2012 anime group Preview)

For this season, there aren’t many animes that I am interested in, unlike the Fall season. Some have the ability and potential in my opinion to be good from the plot summary. Only Black Rock Shooter and Another are on my definite “to-watch” list. The rest will depend on recommendations and my boredom.
But I’m sure you’re wondering what’s the reason behind the name for the post.
