The Sensual Art of Prism

I know myself to be a rather picky consumer of media. I will vehemently oppose watching any movie or reading any book for rather insignificant reasons, ranging from “this is CG Disney crap” to “It’s going to suck massive moose dick because they’re trying to force romance”. Perhaps that’s why my posts don’t do so well. I tend not to write posts about more well-known anime or manga for I chose not to watch them.

Well, being very picky and selective, it’s rare for me to really fall in love with any media, to the extent I’m willing to watch/read it again. The only animated movie I will ever re-watch is the Iron Giant and nothin is going to change that. All the Disney movies were enjoyable but they ain’t got shit on the Iron Giant. Out of the hundreds of movie I’ve watched throughout my life thus far, I’m only willing re-watch perhaps 15 of them.

(I’d like to apologize for the pictures first. I have no idea what’s wrong with them but hopefully once I re-upload them it’ll be ok. It seems that the pics are of such high quality that they only keep their quality if kept at exactly the same resolution. Any smaller they become pixellated and odd. Ok, I found the problem. It’s WordPress itself literally f*****g up my pictures. So, you wonderful readers are going to have to open each image in a new tab to enjoy their full High-Def glory.Sorry for the inconvenience caused. WordPress is a dick.)

How about some excellent posterior?

But away from those! Today’s post is on another manga I’ve fallen in love with! The title is Prism by Higashimaya Shou and it joins the list of a few manga out of the numerous I’ve read, which include Girlfriends, Honey Crush and Eat-Man. Prism is the love story between two high school girls , Megumi and Hikaru, meeting again after years of being apart; ever since they met at a beach many summers past.

The physics of the Third Wheel

Once again, this is another one of those post I have hoarded up for when I reach a dry spell. But this one could be pretty interesting (I hope).

The reason behind this post is simple enough. A couple of months back, I read a manga called GirlXGirlXBoy. I’m not sure if it’s popular or well-known but I definitely liked it. And a couple of weeks ago, another manga I was reading, Kimo Koi Limit, ended. And these two manga have 1 thing in common (well, 2 actually. They’re both generally Yuri). They both had a “third wheel” character that aided the progress of the main couple’s relationship. And I have always pitied this one poor person.

Mashiro Iro Symphony : The Colour Of Lovers (Another Visual Novel Adapted Anime)

Take Your Pick!

Well I haven’t posted in a while so I had a thought on making a review on this particular anime on a whim, since I’m not privileged with time nowadays. Indeed we have seen familiar anime titles commonly adapted from Visual Novels and based on that fact, I’m here to again, share a particular Visual Novel Adapted Anime of which popular titles like Clannad, Da Capo and Amagami SS  cemented their success in the production line. Romance? Absolutely Present. Slice Of Life? Totally.

It’s almost over folks!!

Once again, after a long wait, I bring you the next installment in my short story series, Forbidden Lilies. My usual editor has been hard-pressed to find the inspiration to do editing recently so this was edited by none other than LessThanFree. Give him a round of applause folks. Either way, enjoy the story!!!

Forbidden Lilies Part 5: At Odds

Aria sighed and put down her stylus before pushing the drawing tablet away. She groaned as she rubbed her eyes. A quick glance at the clock told her that it was 2.35am in the morning. She had stayed up the whole night trying to finish a commissioned artwork for her client’s website. It was pity she could not finish it today but she would not have been able to produce a quality product otherwise. Aria yawned and stretched as she continued to draw, feeling lethargic. “I’ll complete it tomorrow then!” she said to herself as she swiveled her chair around. Aria stood up and started to make her way towards the bathroom in her apartment when a movement from the bed caught her eye. Niko had turned over in her sleep and her crimson hair was in a fan around her head on the pillow.

The Fall-Out between Master & SS Agent (InuxBoku SS Episode 3 Review)

So here we are again… back on schedule. So it is time for more action with My Dog and Me Secret Service. Currently this show is not bad and more interesting than most people would expect it to be and the direction it is going is nice. It is getting harder to think of stuff to say at the start now… *sigh*

Somehow he is just devoted... seriously what connection did you two have?

We continue with even more Soushi love and some deep family themes, both enjoyable to watch and stare in wonder at. He also thought us how to protect a message that is important to you. If all else fails, print it, laminate it and put it in a safe.

Mirai Nikki Episode 15(Anime Episodic Review)

The new title design from the new ep. Not as scary but I still like it.

Now it’s rare for me to do an episodic, but I guess doing episodics on this anime series will be an exception, since it’s new and ongoing. To be honest, I find the previous OP and ED much more to my liking, but I won’t take anything away from the new ones. They were still good for the new OP but somehow I do find the ED a little weird (well the show is weird anyway). WARNING THERE ARE SOME PICS WHICH MAY OR MAY NOT TURN YOU ON. Moshi-Moshi! Dora Dora! (Moshidora Season Review)

Eh Ah Hai… After browsing through MyAnimeList several times, I chanced upon this anime. Moshidora. The main gist of this anime is that a girl uses a book for business to manage her school’s baseball team. The cast had the likes of Hikasa Yoko and Hana Kanazewa which have voiced in many of the animes I liked so I decided to give it a go. PS. (SPOILER alert)

Nice Logo?
