Bye Guys!

For those of you who do follow me on twitter to know about my ongoings, in the face of the great amount of pressure from my examinations, I have gave up rights to my computer and in doing so, disallowed myself from writing on the blog.

Seeing that I will not be able to post up posts which have sufficient quality (in my opinion) I have decided to officially announce my retirement from OP. It had been a fun 6 months over here and I know that the blog will definitely live and prosper. So for now, I bid you guys farewell.

Rating Anime

You know MyAnimeList? If you do (I’ll assume you do), you will definitely notice that function that allows you to rate anime. Wait, that was really such a “Duh” moment. So this post, I would like to explore how do people rate anime.

Think about it, who will win?

I mean no matter how great or sucky an anime is, if you look the statistics, there are always people who will give 0 for an anime reknowned for being fantastic and a 10 for animes that seem like crap to everybody. So this time I want to try thinking about why actually causes this. And the two main (and very general) points that I see are,

Name to be Confirmed

Now as many of you have see LessThanFree’s post on preparing you guys, I have a follow up to that. With the addition of us doing commentaries and random dubbing, we will be devoting a new category to it. The name is to be confirmed, by so far I came up with “Goofalongs” and yes that name is not confirmed.

Talking to Otakus

Again I have another post about Otakus. It’s just it’s such a great topic to talk about and there are so many things that can be discussed and shared. For today, I am going to talk about Talking with Otakus. That title makes no sense? Let me (attempt badly to) explain.

The Concept Behind AKB48 and the other 9000+ Idol Groups

For a start, let me just declare that I am most definitely not a raging Idol Group fan. Not here to declare my undying love for Mayuyu or anything. As all you know the AKB48 anime AKB0048 anime came out not long ago and I did a little research (aka Wikipedia stalking) and I found out some interesting things. Shall I start? (No please don’t)

First thing first, I know that there have been several posts about this already floating around, but it seems like something really interesting to talk about and for the fact that I already had plans to do this post in my To-Do list but I just never got the time. So anywhat, Why Anime?

The End of K-ON!(manga)

Now, if you guys have no heard about it yet. It’s official. It’s in black and white. Now, according to this MyAnimeList thread, it has been confirmed that the K-ON! manga is indeed ending despite a revival mid last year. As a die-hard K-ON! fan as all of you may have already guessed, this is more or less close to a tragedy.

It is seriously not my style to use such ecchi pictures, but this suits the mood best.

Expectations Smashed? *Nods*

Now remember when we were doing the Spring Preview Post quite a while back? Well, let me say that the shows that I expected to be good were good. And… The shows I expected nothing out of gave me a slap in the face from how good they were (to me). It could me I had such low expectations (or the fact I was rather grouchy about being banned from anime during that period I was doing the post), but many of the Anime this Spring sprung up and showed me their awesomeness.

I got diabetes, but not from those sweets ^^

Anime To Real Life?

Sorry for the premature posting that cheated several of you of your feelings, my WordPress App for my phone is rather trollish. A rather contreversial question that I chose, both sides do have their strong points and I will do this in the most impartial random way that I can.
